New Years Eve at Popstarz

Celebrate the end of 2008 with an all-out, no holds barred New Years Eve at Popstarz. Be transported to the fantastical world of Narnia and dress to impress as you dance the night away with other witches, fauns and lions at this gay and lesbian club.

Magical lands of Narnia
The fantasy starts on the streets of Soho, where two enormous wardrobes lined with fur coats will lead to the kingdom of Narnia recreated within six areas of Sin. So expansive that the organisers will be handing out maps for intrepid party goers, New Years Eve at Popstarz promises to be a jaw dropping spectacle of the highest order for fun loving gay and lesbian party goers. A cast of actors will be present throughout the night to play the characters made famous by The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and other titles within C.S. Lewis' fantasy series.

Ice cool club
The Frozen Forest will be the spellbinding setting for dance, rave and electro tunes at New Years Eve at Popstarz, with glittering trees of ice and snow adding to the enchanted atmosphere. The White Witches Palace transforms the VIP floor into the glamorous domain of the terrifying matriarch, and features cool sounds and ice sculptures to help you chill out. The White Witch herself will be on hand to tempt you with a sweet fix in the form of alcoholic hot chocolate and Turkish Delight.

Party the night away
Dedicated dancers will love Prince Caspian's Pop Palace, the outlandish arena for the best disco tunes at New Years Eve at Popstarz. Get into the groove with the help of Kylie and Alphabeat and tap your way around the suits of armour and medieval banners and bunting. Those with alternative musical tastes can rock along to indie anthems in Aslans's Enchanted Forest. The big lion himself will oversee the proceedings and hand out gifts, treats and surprises to revellers during the night.

A touch of magic
Take a trip to the dark side in the Witch's Dungeon, where RnB beats are accompanied by howls of horror as innocent Narnians find themselves at the mercy of the witch's minions. An altogether more charming encounter will take place at the Lampost, which will serve as the smoking garden for New Years Eve at Popstarz. With the snow making machines guaranteeing a winter wonderland whatever the weather, our favourite faun Mr. Tumness will treat everyone to mulled wine and biscuits to keep up the festive cheer.

New Years Eve at Popstarz is at Sin, Charing Cross Road, and runs from 9pm, Wednesday 31st December 2008 - 5am, Thursday 1st January 2009.
