Keeper for a Day

Ever fancied being a Zoo Keeper for a day? London Zoo is now offering visitors the chance to enjoy the experience of looking after the animals in their enclosures for a full or half day, where you can be slobbered on by giraffes, get to stroke the penguins or go behind the scenes with the big cats.

A must for any serious animal lover, the keeper for a day experience is something that can never be replicated. Offering unique insight into the zoo's most popular animals and learning direct from the keepers themselves, the day is a wonderful chance to get to see the inmates up close and personal.

Feed the giraffes, muck out a rhino, clean the penguin pool and enjoy the atmosphere of being behind the scenes at the zoo. The Keeper for a Day experience really allows you to know what the keepers do day in and day out, and how they get on with their animals. Step into a real zoo keepers outfit and help prepare the food or clean out the enclosures. A delightful chance to see what the zoo is like backstage, tickets for the experience are sure to run out very quickly.
